Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our fresh ground coffee beans and brewing methods.
How fresh are your coffee beans?
Our beans are roasted to order and shipped within 48 hours of roasting. Each bag includes the roast date, and we recommend using them within 4 weeks for optimal flavor. The freshness is guaranteed through our direct-to-consumer model, eliminating middlemen delays.
What grinding options do you offer?
We offer whole bean, espresso grind, filter/drip grind, and French press grind. Select your preferred grind size at checkout. If you prefer whole beans for freshness but lack a grinder, we also stock manual and electric burr grinders in our accessories collection.
Which coffee is best for espresso machines?
Our espresso blends are specifically formulated for espresso extraction. We recommend our "Dark Roast Espresso" or "Italian Roast" for rich crema and bold flavor. For semi-automatic machines, use our espresso grind setting to ensure proper extraction time (25-30 seconds).
Do you ship to Poland?
Yes, we're based in Lublin, Poland and offer local delivery. Orders placed before 2 PM are typically shipped the same day. For addresses outside Lublin, we use a trusted courier service with delivery within 2-3 business days. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location.
What is your return policy?
We stand behind our quality. If you're unsatisfied with your purchase within 14 days of receipt, contact us with your order number. We'll arrange a replacement or refund. Unopened bags can be returned; opened bags may be exchanged for a different roast level at our discretion.
Where do your beans originate?
We source from partner farms in Ethiopia, Colombia, and Indonesia. Each bean carries origin information on the packaging. We prioritize direct relationships with growers and support sustainable farming practices. Visit our "Our Sources" page to learn about individual farm partners and their stories.
How should I store my coffee beans?
Store beans in an airtight container away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. A cool, dark pantry is ideal—avoid the refrigerator or freezer as condensation damages flavor. Whole beans stay fresh 3-4 weeks; ground coffee lasts 1-2 weeks. Always keep the original valve bag sealed between uses.
What brewing equipment do you recommend?
We recommend burr grinders (manual or electric), pour-over brewers (Hario, Chemex), French press, or espresso machines for best results. Each method extracts different flavors from the same beans. Our Brewing Guide covers detailed instructions for each method, including water temperature and grind size ratios.
Do you offer subscription services?
Yes! Choose a delivery schedule (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) and select one or two coffee varieties. Subscribers receive 10% off per order and the convenience of automatic deliveries. You can adjust, pause, or cancel your subscription anytime through your account dashboard.
What's the difference between light and dark roasts?
Light roasts preserve origin flavors—expect brighter acidity and floral or fruity notes. Dark roasts develop deeper, bolder flavors with lower acidity and a fuller body. Medium roasts balance both profiles. The "best" roast depends on your taste preference and brewing method. We recommend trying our sampler pack to discover your favorite.
Are your beans organic or certified?
Several of our single-origin coffees come from certified organic farms. Each product listing clearly indicates certification status. Even non-certified beans meet high quality and sustainability standards through direct relationships with growers. We prioritize transparency—contact us for detailed information about any specific coffee's farming practices.
